How much is a ticket for adults and children?

We offer three ticket categories: Standard, Fast-track, and First class. Please visit our ticket page for current pricing and package details.

Are life jackets, towels, or floating tubes included in the ticket price?

Safety gear, including life jackets, towels, and floating tubes, is mandatory and comes at an additional cost. This is clearly outlined during ticket purchase. 

What does the Premium or Standard package include?

Each package offers a unique experience. Visit our ticket comparison page for full details.   

Are meals or accessories included, or do I need to purchase them separately?

Mandatory accessories (safety gear) must be purchased with each ticket. Meals and other optional accessories are sold separately.

Ticketing And Payment

What age counts as a child or adult for ticket purposes?

 Infants (0–2 years): Free entry; Children (3–11 years); Adults (12+ years).

How do I pay for tickets at Giwa Gardens?

The easiest and most convenient way to pay is online via our ticket page

 You may also pay at the park, but due to large crowds and long queues, we highly recommend purchasing your tickets online.

Do you offer birthday packages or event bookings?

Yes, we do! Celebrate your special day with our exciting birthday packages. Contact our team for details. 

Can I pay into a bank account instead of online?

Yes, you can. Kindly contact a member of our team to make arrangements. However, our payment gateway (Paystack) accepts bank transfers and is very reliable.

Can I pay for multiple people at once (e.g., a group or family)?

Absolutely. Just select the total number of tickets you need during checkout. For frequent visits or larger groups, consider our Annual Family Priority Pass.

How do I know if my payment was successful?

Upon successful payment, you’ll see a confirmation screen and receive an email as well as a WhatsApp message with your order number and access instructions.

Which platforms can I use to pay?

Payments are processed securely through Paystack, which supports debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and more. 

How do I assign tickets to myself or someone else?

Log into your account, go to 'My Tickets', then click 'Assign' to designate each ticket.

Can I change the date on my ticket after booking?

All bookings are final. Assign your ticket only when you are sure of your visit date. Unused assigned tickets cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

Can I reassign a ticket to another person?

Once a ticket is assigned, it is non-transferable and non-editable.

Where can I find my ticket or access code after purchase?

Tickets are under 'My Tickets' in your account. A copy is also sent to your registered email and WhatsApp number.

What happens if I don’t assign my ticket before the visit date?

Unassigned tickets remain valid for 12 months. Assigned but unused tickets are forfeited. 

What is your refund policy?

We do not offer refunds. However, unassigned tickets remain valid for 12 months and can be used at a later date. 

Where can I track my orders and ticket history?

 Log in to your account, click on 'My Tickets', and you’ll see all your past and current orders. 

Visiting the Park

What is the address of Giwa Gardens Waterpark?

Ejike Street, Native Villa, off Ablag Road, Monastery Way, Sangotedo, Lagos, Nigeria. 

Is parking available at the park?

Yes. We offer free on-site parking for up to 800 cars. The area is monitored by CCTV and secured by trained personnel. Please lock your vehicle and remove valuables, as the park is not liable for theft. 

Are lockers or storage facilities available at the park?

Yes, lockers are available.

Are there any park rules I should know before visiting?

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No, outside food and drinks are not allowed in the park. 

Can I re-enter the park after exiting?

Re-entry is not permitted once you leave the park. 

What should I wear to the park? Are swimsuits mandatory?

Swimwear is only required if you intend to swim. Otherwise, wear comfortable, water-friendly clothing

Park Guidelines & Safety

Are there any height or weight restrictions for the rides?

Yes. Weight limits generally range from 40kg to 90kg, and height limits from 1.4m to 2m. Please review our Safety Guidelines for full details. 

What safety gear is required or recommended?

The following safety items are mandatory: Life Jacket, Floating Tube, and Towel. These must be purchased in addition to your ticket. 

What are Giwa Gardens’ opening hours?

Opening hours vary by season. Please check our availability calendar for up-to-date information.

Are pets allowed at the park?

No. Pets are not allowed inside Giwa Gardens Water Park for the safety and comfort of all guests. 

Do you have an emergency medical station in the park?

Yes, there is a medic station at the park to handle injuries, with the option to call an ambulance if required in an emergency. Access to this is included as a mandatory add-on to all tickets bought by park visitors. The medic provides primary healthcare services such as cleaning minor wounds and burns, applying bandages and dressings, removing debris from the eyes, administering OTCs, cauterisation, and CPR.

How long is my free ticket valid for?

All FREE tickets are only valid for the offer period. The current offer period is from August 16th to August 31st, 2025. Any tickets not used within this period will become invalid.  

Can I chat with someone via WhatsApp or email?

What dates are open?

Our calendar is the best place to check! Simply visit our Calendar Page to see all the days Giwa Gardens is open, so you can plan your visit for the perfect splash-filled day.

Do you offer lodging? If so, is it part of a package or priced separately?

Yes, we do offer comfortable accommodations ! Rooms are priced separately so you can choose the option that suits your plans. This way, you can enjoy the park during the day and relax in style after.
 

Can I pay at the gate?

Yes, you can! However, for the best value, we recommend booking online in advance...gate prices are a little higher, and booking ahead guarantees your spot.

Accessories consists of what ?

Sanitized Egyptian cotton towels (rented)

Can I use the ticket later in the year if I take advantage of the free ticket now?

Free promo tickets are valid only during the month of August. We’d love for you to visit us soon so you don’t miss out on all the fun this month!

Which activities are included with the free ticket?

Your free ticket includes all the exciting attractions and amenities covered under our Standard Ticket — from thrilling slides to relaxing wave pools — so you can enjoy a full day of fun.

Will I be able to access VIP areas with the free ticket?

VIP areas are exclusive to our First Class Ticket holders. Your free ticket will still give you unlimited access to everything in our Standard Ticket package, which already includes plenty of amazing rides and activities!

What if I can’t swim? Are there activities for me?

Absolutely! You don’t need to be a swimmer to have a great time at Giwa Gardens. Attractions like the Pirate Ship and Water House are perfect for non-swimmers and still deliver loads of excitement.

How deep is the pool?

Our wave pool reaches up to 9 feet (about 2.7 meters) at its deepest point, while the extreme river flows between 4–5 feet (about 1.2–1.5 meters). Whether you prefer shallow splashes or deeper waters, there’s a spot that’s just right for you.
